WASHINGTON, D.C. —
Senator John Thune announced today that the United States Department of Agriculture has approved a $4,205,000 loan for the Rosebud Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Gregory.
“I’m pleased to announce this important loan to ensure South Dakota consumers are receiving high-quality, reliable electricity,” Thune said. “Improving South Dakota’s electric capabilities directly strengthens our state’s economy and boosts our security.”
Rosebud Electric Cooperative, Inc. will use these Rural Development funds to serve 284 new consumers, build 35 miles of new distribution line and make other system improvements.
