Senator John Thune today announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development office has approved a loan of $4,796,000 for the WEB Water Development Association, Inc. in Aberdeen.
“This loan will assist WEB in expanding its water treatment plant to meet a rapidly growing demand for reliable, clean water in its service area,” Thune said. “A clean and safe water supply is essential for growing communities throughout South Dakota.”
WEB serves 17 counties, two of which are in North Dakota, and 98 towns and bulk users.
