Washington, D.C. —
Senator John Thune today announced a grant of nearly $1 million for Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD.
“I am pleased to announce this grant for Dakota Wesleyan University,” said Thune. “The construction of the McGovern Library and Center for Public Service will not only provide wonderful educational opportunities and resources for Wesleyan students but will also be an important addition to the greater Mitchell area.”
The $994,100 Special Project grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Dakota Wesleyan will use the funds for facilities construction for the McGovern Library and Center for Public Service.
