Thune Applauds National Science Foundation for Investing in Dakota State University

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) today applauded the National Science Foundation’s decision to award Dakota State University a five million dollar grant to continue its participation in the CyberCorps Scholarship for Service program to supply highly-qualified people to the government's cybersecurity workforce.

“The National Science Foundation recognizes what South Dakotans have known for a long time – that Dakota State is a leader in technology and cybersecurity,” said Thune. “This award ensures that the university will continue to produce high-quality experts to add to the workforce.”
