Following his tour of storm damage in western South Dakota, Senator John Thune (R-S.D.) took to the Senate floor today to draw attention to the gut-wrenching loss of livestock resulting from the early October snowstorm, and urged Congress to complete its work on a five-year Farm Bill that includes livestock disaster assistance.
