U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) met this week with Christopher Wray, President Trump’s nominee to be director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
“After meeting with Christopher Wray, I am confident he is the right person to lead the thousands of dedicated men and women at the FBI who work hard to protect the American people,” said Thune. “As terrorists, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and other risks continue to threaten the United States, it is important that we have someone who is qualified and level-headed overseeing this important agency, which is why I look forward to supporting his nomination.”
