Washington, DC —
Senator John Thune today announced the National Park Service has approved a $57,595 grant for the City of Milbank to make improvements to Koch School.
"I am pleased to announce this important funding that will allow city officials in Milbank to improve the recreational facilities for students at Koch School," Thune said. "Investments in our state's education facilities directly result in a better learning experience and environment for South Dakotan students."
The City of Milbank will use this Land and Water Conservation Fund grant to install sports and playfields at Koch School, which will include the installation of new play equipment for students.
