U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D) today released the following statement regarding the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ announcement that the economy added 304,000 jobs in January.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act provided job creators with an economic environment to grow their businesses and provide more opportunities for hardworking Americans. Tax reform and regulatory reform are leading to more jobs, higher wages, and greater economic opportunity for working families. Month after month, the benefits of our economic reforms are evident and more Americans are entering the workforce.
