Senator John Thune today announced the National Park Service has approved a $9,676 grant for the City of Ipswich to make improvements to Collier Park.
"I am pleased to announce this important funding that will allow city officials in Ipswich to improve the recreational facilities of Collier Park," Thune said. "City parks offer families positive recreational outlets, while boosting community involvement."
The City of Ipswich will use this Land and Water Conservation Fund grant to install sports and playfields at Collier Park, which will include the installation of new play equipment.
