Washington, D.C. —
The non-partisan Congressional Management Foundation today honored Senator John Thune's official website with the 2007 Gold Mouse Award. Senator Thune's website is one of 36 honored with the Gold Mouse out of 618 Congressional websites reviewed.
"My official website, https://www.thune.senate.gov, is a valuable resource for South Dakotans to use in learning about issues and legislation, communicating with me, and to better understand the legislative process," said Thune. "While this award is appreciated, I encourage feedback from South Dakotans on how my website can be more helpful in the future."
The 2007 Gold Mouse Award marks the third time that Senator Thune's website has been recognized by the Congressional Management Foundation. Websites were graded on how well they incorporate five basic components: audience, content, usability, interactivity, and innovation.
