Washington, D.C. —
U.S. Senator John Thune (R-S.D.), Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, today made the following statement regarding the Obama administration’s proposed cuts to Medicare’s popular Medicare Advantage program:
“Americans are reminded on a daily basis of ObamaCare’s broken promises, and today seniors are the latest victims. ObamaCare’s continued cuts to Medicare Advantage will hurt millions of seniors who rely on the popular program for their health care needs. Every senator who voted for this train wreck owes America’s seniors an explanation for these Medicare cuts, which are already resulting in higher costs and reduced access to the doctors they had and liked.”
