Washington, DC —
Senator John Thune today congratulated Bruce Knight, a native of Gann Valley, on his nomination by President Bush to be Under Secretary of Agriculture for Marketing and Regulatory Programs and a Member of the Commodity Credit Corporation.
"I want to congratulate Bruce on this well deserved nomination," Thune said. "Bruce is highly qualified for the job, having gained valuable insight and expertise from a wide range of farming, ranching and relevant government experience. It is good to see a South Dakota native who knows firsthand the needs of our farmers and ranchers in this key position at the U.S. Department of Agriculture."
