"The recent flooding in several areas of eastern South Dakota created a dangerous and crisis situation for many families and businesses. My thoughts and concerns go out to the families whose homes were damaged and property lost or destroyed. My staff in Aberdeen, Sioux Falls and Washington, DC have been working together, and I have been in contact with Governor Rounds to offer any assistance I can provide in helping local residents who are picking up the pieces after this severe storm."
