U.S. Senator John Thune (R-S.D.), Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued the following statement in advance of the president’s speech later this morning on ObamaCare’s technical problems:

“In addition to addressing ObamaCare’s embarrassing technical ‘glitches,’ the president has a responsibility to be honest with the American people about the substantive, real-life consequences of his signature law. We now know that hundreds of thousands of Americans are receiving insurance cancellation notices, despite the president’s promise that you can keep the health care plan you have and like. If and when the technical glitches get fixed, Americans will unfortunately still face the bleak reality of this train wreck—problems no IT specialist can fix.”
